Bean Burritos

Filling Ingredients:

  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained 

  • 1 can mixed beans (or beans of choice) rinsed and drained 

  • 1 cup salsa 

  • 1 cup corn 

  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning (or ½ tbsp cumin and ½ tsp chili powder)  

Burrito Ingredients:

  • Whole wheat flour tortillas 

  • Lettuce or greens of choice

  • Vegetables of choice (tomatoes, celery, cucumber etc) 

  • Shredded cheese of choice 

  • Avocado/guacamole or hummus (optional) 

  • Anything else you want! 


  1. Mix all the filling ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through (about 10 mins.) 

  2. Assemble your burrito however you like by placing all ingredients in a flour tortilla and rolling it up. Enjoy!
