Iced Latte Recipe

What's better than an iced coffee drink in the summer? I call this one an iced latte because it has lots of milk. Yum! Thanks to my Mother-in-Law for introducing me to this homemade version a long time ago.  



Concentrate Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup instant coffee (I like to use 1/4 cup hazelnut flavour and 1/4 cup regular)

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 cups boiling water

  • 1-2 tbsp sugar (optional)

Latte Ingredients;

  • 1/4 cup concentrate

  • 1 cup milk

  • ice cubes


Directions:

  1. Add instant coffee and vanilla to a glass jar. Pour boiling water into the jar and then stir until dissolved.

  2. Let cool completely. Store in the fridge.

  3. To make your iced latte, measure 1/4 cup concentrate into a glass, add one cup of milk, and as many ice cubes as you want. Stir and enjoy!


Note:

The concentrate will be enough for 8 iced lattes.
