Classic Strawberry Banana Protein Smoothie


  • 1 cup water

  • 2 handfuls baby spinach, fresh or frozen (optional)

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 scoop protein powder (chocolate, strawberry, banana or vanilla are best

  • 1 tbsp peanut butter (optional)


Blend water with spinach first, then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.


  1. Serves 2

  2. To get the nice pink colour shown, you'll have to omit the spinach.

  3. If you don't have protein powder, you could use greek yogourt to make it creamy and add protein.

  4. If you want to use fresh strawberries and bananas, you might want to add some ice cubes to make it cold.
